Yes, this was the doomed one!
A change of frequency to 100.3MHz, while initially thought to be a good step to distance SWR from WOW in Penrith, turned out to be a disaster.
Technical boffins would observe that 2 x 100.3 = 200.6MHz. The first harmonic issues completely wiped out Channel Nine on just about every TV set within 300m of the Emerton site, on the same weekend as the NRL Grand Final.
Conversely, not much audio evidence of this test exists.. just one tape. It was the final test to be carried out from the Popondetta Rd Emerton site
